repurposing felted breast pads

Thread Starter
I knitted up some lovely breast pads using the Little Turtle Knits pattern, but never used them much after my baby was born. I'd like to turn them into something useful. I supposed I could turn them into coasters, but wanted to ask if anybody had any other suggestions for me.

I'm going to use some felted stuff as applique and decoupage. I was thinking of covering a notebook and then maybe needlefelting a design onto that. Or cutting a a little shape and sewing it onto dc's sweaters, longies, hats etc.

If you haven't made dryer balls yet and are interested, I used some recycled longie scraps for the center so I could get more bang for my buck w/ the yarn.

I didn't see how old your dc are, there are quite a few books out now about using recycled wool felt. For smaller items, I remember seeing toys (I'm thinking a ball or cube).
