I thought dd (almost 7 months) was getting her first cold last night. She was sooo sniffly, she could barely nurse and was sniffing and snuffling and rubbing her nose all night. I felt so bad for her. She woke up this morning and I picked her up to squirt breastmilk up her nose and get the bulb syringe into it...And there was nothing there! Now an hour later (awake time) there is no sign of the terrible sniffles. What would cause being this stuffed up at night and then being fine in the morning?

We co-sleep/sidecar crib and our bed/bedding and her crib mattress are organic, she's been sleeping on it for months and months, no allergic issues. Our dog sleeps in the room with us, but has since day one, again, no allergic issues. Also, we've been slowly introducing solids, but one at a time, and with a 4 day wait period. Last night was the end of the wait period--day 4 of green beans. She's never showed any signs of allergies to any foods yet. Just wanted to give some background!
