Need hints for Dad putting DS to Sleep

I've been dealing with extreme fatigue levels lately. I'm going to the Dr to day to hopefully figure out what is going on with this. However if nothing shows up on the bloodwork we will be pushing up the sleep study that I'm planning to do in December, that we have been putting off till I could night wean DS who is 2.5 years old..

Because the exhaustion is so bad, I really want to get DS totally night weaned ASAP, especially in case we need to do the sleep study, so I can go to that night and not have to worry about whether or not DH is going to be able to get DS to sleep or have a perfectly miserable night without me..

DS presently only nurses to sleep, but I would love tips on how we can break this cycle of nursing to sleep and get DH putting him to sleep instead. As much advice as we can get would be appreciated, because right now the only way DH uses is keeping DS up way too late, then letting DS watch videos on his phone until he falls asleep.. ok for rare occasions, but not for every night.

Thanks!!

Can they make a routine that works?

For our DD - it was all about the bath together, going out to look at the moon, cuddling in bed, three stories and then cuddle to sleep together.....
