mixed up my minced ingredients a few days ago, covered the jars with paper to prevent light exporsure ... but am going to the cupboard in order to give them a shake every day .... the mixture is turning green !!! is that normal ?

Mine is milky-clear if that makes sense, but it won't be done for a week.

Interesting.

Mine looks the same as ACV except with sediment at the bottom... I shake before I drink it! Wow! Didn't even think about the color!

mine is greenish gold, but milky so far, we'll see if the sediment falls to the bottom. but i did add rosemary sprigs to mine.

re: color
mine has always been milk-y green

re: size of ingredients
I think it will just take a little longer to extract all the goodness from the ingredients if the pieces are bigger

Mine was amber the first time, this last batch is pretty bright yellow because I included fresh turmeric. Sometimes garlic takes on a greenish or blueish hue that you can see if the pieces are large enough.

actually I posted another time (my second go) and someone gave a link to an article, must go and print it .... it was about what can cause garlic to turn green and copper in the water was one possibility so apparently it's edible anyway ....
haven't opened my jar yet actually
should have written down the date I made it !!!! LOL

i think I managed to copy the link here ...
