4-week-old DS can nurse w/o latching on.

No really, he can. One of the benefits of OALD. Whenever he pops off b/c of the strong flow, and I have a little stream going on, I can just aim the stream into his mouth and he'll swallow it that way.

This makes me smile, I did the same thing with my little dude! It totally settles down after a while though. DS is 6mo and I don't even feel let down anymore, it just happens, but the first 2 months or so it was a really intense sensation. Breastfeeding is the most amazing thing

I totally know what you mean! I used to have a rag at the ready when DS was really little. Enjoy it while you can, my supply didn't stay so abundant. Bless and a curse.

What, you mean like this? That's what I used to look like. It does settle down eventually.

Ha ha. I tell people DD2 couldn't nurse on anyone else because she is too lazy. She just has to put her mouth on my nipple and swallow. Barely sucks at all.
