Has anyone replaced aplix on pocket dipes?

I bought 5 Thirsties AIOs on DS and the aplix is NOT in the condition she stated but I can't afford to buy more dipes and throwing these out seems a waste. : I'm thinking of replacing it. Is it even possible? Will it be a huge hassle or cause leaks?

Has anyone done this or are there any WAHM who replace Aplix for a fee? I wouldn't mind sending them to someone who knows better!

TIA!

I've never replaced it but I don't think it would be hard to do or cause leaks! Just be sure you use 100% polyester thread so that it doesn't wick moisture. I know I've seen moms that will replace it for you, maybe on DS?

You can certainly do it yourself - you'd want to order the aplix or touchtape online so you can get good quality stuff. I don't think the Joann's kind holds up very well. Anyway. You just have to pick out the old threads and sew on the new ones!

pm me if you still want help.
