Looking for German worksheets, learning to read

Hi,

My son is learning to read and write, and we are a bilingual family (English/German) living in Canada. I am looking for worksheets in German I can print out to make it fun for him. He loves playing word-games and such, but of course most of the material we have is in English. Online resources preferred, to avoid the cost of shipping. Any hints?

Hi, I don't know if there are worksheets, but you might want to poke around on this site and see if there's something interesting there in the way of games and such...

Here are some German fingerplays if you're interested in a playful approach.

actually that whole site has lots of ideas for games (including ABC's) and crafts, etc...

I'll check my bookmarks and post more if I find anything.

This site doesn't have worksheets, but you can read books and then write a book report (in german), send it to the Maus, and they will publish it on their site!
