We are interested in running a blog giveaway to boost business for my sisters brick and mortar shop as well as her online store. She has a bead and jewelry supply store. This is what we are thinking of trying and are looking for advice and suggestions on how these things work.
This is our idea:
She will make a piece of jewelry and take photos and write instructions on how to make it from Monday - Friday, a new post everyday. On Friday we will post the final piece and allow people to enter the contest to win the finished piece. They will have until Sunday night to enter and on Monday we will have a winner and the start of the next project. We will then have the componants for sale in her shop and online store for people to make it.
Does this sound like a good plan? Should we giveaway just the components or the finished piece? How exactly do you run a blog giveaway anyways? I follow a few blogs that do it so I have a basic idea but does anyone have any tips.
