I "won" an Ergo

and I hope I love it! Two weeks ago, I was searching the Ergo site, dreaming about purchasing the organic blue starburst carrier, when I saw a little button called "Auction." Lo and behold, a used blue Ergo was up for auction...thinking there was no way I'd "win" the auction, I signed up. I was the only bidder! I don't know whether to be super excited or really nervous that I just spent alot of much needed money! I was juggling between a Beco and an Ergo...guess the Ergo will be an early xmas present to me!!

Well, you can never have too many carriers, eh? My slings are starting to hurt my back, and I was given a Patapum carrier but the straps annoy me and it's so plain! Great for hubby though.

BTW, I'm new to the boards...love it here so far!!

We love our ergo, and I mean love

It's definitely our most used carrier. We got it when my dd was about 11 weeks old and we still use it pretty much daily and shes 27 months old now.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED our Ergo, I loved it so much I bought a 2nd one! One for the house and one of the car so I would never be without it. dd is 3 now and I just stopped using it a couple months ago due to it causing sciatic pain (Ergo had never had a report but dam if they didn't have there lawyer call me back when I called to inquire if they had heard anything like that. I had/have no intention of suing, I just wanted to know what was the cause of my severe pain and it was in fact the Ergo) but man I really really really miss it! Going out with dd is now a major PITA since she's a runner big time and HATES shopping carts and won't stay in one. I wore her from about 7 mo and 12ish lbs? to 3 and 25-26 lbs. It was so comfy I would actually forget she was on my back. More then once I'd freak and start looking for her and my older dd would start laughing at me and remind me she was on my back asleep

Yay, glad for the positive feedback. Well, I knew folks loved their Ergos beforehand, but reinforcement is always good!

Okay, I just went online to pay, and now the same blue embroidered Ergo is on auction, with a matching backpack and frontpack, for the same price! And they're brand new! And the hood has the starburst pattern (the one I won has the plain colored fabric). This sounds horrible, but I'm actually hoping there's a bidding war on these items, so that I don't have to kick myself for getting the "boring" used Ergo a bit too early!
