Mind spamming me?

For some reason, I'm in the mood for some historical fiction. I've never been interested before, but picked up a few recently, and now want to venture off in that direction. I'm particularly interested in Colonial America so if you have something to recommend in that realm, it's most appreciated. TIA.

The later books in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon take place before/during the American Revolution.

Margaret Lawrence's mystery series about a midwife in the colonial US is very good. The first one is "Hearts and Bones".

And it's nonfiction (but it won a Pulitzer!), but Laurel Thatcher Ulrich's book - A Midwife's Tale - is fascinating.

Not Colonial America, but my fave historical fiction are Winds of War and War and Remembrance.
