I need a new tv show to get into! Recommend one plz?

I really need a new tv show to get into! I'm currently watching 2 but they are on the same night, so the rest of the week I got no shows to watch I was watching a 3rd show but it is on a break before the new season starts (and who knows when that will be!), another 2 shows I had been watching, haven't been renewed for a new season, which is fine as they had had several seasons anyway.

Any tv shows you would recommend I take a look at? fwiw I don't like sci-fi much

Monday: How I Met Your Mother (CBS 8:00)
Tuesday: Biggest Loser (NBC 8:00)
Wednesday: The Middle (ABC 8:30); Glee (Fox 9:00)
Thursday: Community; Parks & Rec; The Office; 30 Rock (NBC from 8-10)
Sunday: Next Iron Chef (Food Network, 9:00)

I can't stay up late enough to watch the following shows, so I watch them "On Demand":

Wednesday: Top Chef (Bravo, 10:00)
Thursday: Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX, 10:00)

Always Sunny takes a particular brand of humor (i love it, but many find it offensive)

Do you have netflix?
you can watch online- lots of shows from the beginning of the series- I'm watching the tudors and dexter now. weeds is on the watch instant, too.

all 3 seasons of arrested development are on hulu.com (my favorite show)

DH and I are lucky enough to have DVR, so we follow quite a few shows.

Right now we're watching:
Tuesday: So You think you can dance & The visitors (V) V is si-fi though
Wednesday: So you think you can dance, Glee and I watch Modern family online - Modern family is hilarious! Definitely recommend it. I think Nip/tuck comes on wednesday too, we tape that as well.
Thursday - the office
Friday - Say yes to the dress, I may be slighly addicted to this show. Although most of the show I'm doing this >> Because these girls go in there with wedding dress budgets of $5,000!

I was watching Mercy, but I think I forgot to tape it after we moved a couple weeks ago. I really liked it as well!

I just wanted to say that I feel your pain, Wed. is DH's night here too, he also watches UFC. I hate it!



I like cheesy shows. I could be a teenage girl at heart.

Mon - Gossip Girl
Tues - the new 90210. I hated it at first because it's nothing like the original, but then I somehow got addicted.
Wed - DH's UFC night, but I sometimes get to watch Nip/Tuck. If not then I watch it online
Thurs - Project Runway

Then during the day sometimes I watch stuff while DS is asleep like Say Yes To The Dress, the Duggars, What Not To Wear, and HGTV

I have no idea why, but I am also addicted to this show. $5K always sounds cheapo to me now. I love for them to pick out insane dresses! This show has made me crazy.

I have to tell you, DH and I married at home, and my dress was around $400, I think. I have never seen it, but I think I would love Platinum Babies -- about people with wild, unbelieveable nursery budgets. Also funny, b/c of course we co-sleep, cloth diaper, and so forth. I just like to marvel and be irritained by this kind of thing.

I like ABC's new show Flashback, which I watch on hulu.com. I think it comes on Thursday at 8. My favorite show is House, MD -- especially if you like good acting and interesting medical stuff like Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery. Glee is WONDERFUL. Also available on hulu (Fox Wed 9 pm, I think).

If you enjoy the supernatural: Ghost Whisperer is hands-down my fave show (CBS Fri at 8) and Medium is on right after on the same network. I record them both and then get up *early* on Saturday to watch alone!
