I watched that show one night, it was a marathon of it and my mom and I sat and watched if for probably 2 hours, just totally appalled at how much people spend on wedding dresses. And I think two of these couples were already married but they got married in Vegas or had a small wedding and were having a big wedding complete with a $$$ dress a few years later. Why not just throw a big anniversary party instead? I had a small wedding (and a $60 dress) and didn't feel "cheated" out of anything.

I usually watch Desperate Housewives on Sunday, Glee on Weds and The Office on Thurs.

Castle and the Closer (both on Mondays) I keep saying I'm over police shows but both of these are much more about the characters rather than the procedures. Plus I heart Nathan Fillion.

Just about everything else I watch is science fiction. That said you might like V. Lots of people who were not otherwise interested in SF got into the original series. The current one is all about people and personalities not so much about futuristic tech or latex foreheads (mostly). Anyway, I suppose that depend on why one doesn't like SF.

I also am completely addicted to Say Yes to the Dress. Probably because I had issues re: wedding dress shopping. I only paid $400 for my dress 11 years ago, which was fine, but wasn't treated very well by staff and family during the process. So it's very bittersweet for me to watch.

Mondays: House, Lie To Me, Castle (monday is the BEST!)
Tuesdays: NCIS, NCIS L.A. (not as impressed with the new NCIS L.A.)
Wednesdays: Modern Family, Cougar Town
Thursdays: CSI

One I didn't see mentioned but I really like is The Good Wife on CBS (Tuesday at 10). It stars Julianna Margulies and it's a good lawyer/drama type show. The writing is excellent.
