EDD: June 6, 2010

Name: Jenna

Age: 35

Location: Eugene, OR

Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Married to Matt, my daughter Kalia is 7, and I have 2 stepdaughters, ages 5 & 2.

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Boy, based on the best guesses of two US techs. Also my instincts.

Names you like: Dad is campaigning hard for a Junior. Not sure how down I am with that idea, but I'm considering.

Birth Plans/Preferences: Hospital birth; had my daughter in a FSBC with a midwife but ended up with some complication that now classify me as "high-risk". I am hoping to do it again unmedicated, however.

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm very glad to be finding someone to talk to; just moved here in September and I don't know anyone. Also, I miscarried in August so I'm a great deal more anxious this time than I was with my first pregnancy. Last but not least, my daughter had a major illness diagnosed in infancy (she's okay now), which is not helping my anxiety level.
I'm hanging in there, though, just trying to relax and gestate as peacefully as possible....

I have two beautiful girls- Azlea (Az-lee-uh) Noel (6), Valerie Raelle (4), and a very handsome step-son Riley Parker (7 1/2). We have two furbabies. Our black lab/ border collie/ greyhound mix Sophie (3), and our kitten Domino (6 months).

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): DF wants a boy, but I'm kind of hoping for another girl, but I will be happy either way.

Names you like: Still deciding. We have a list, but can't seem to settle yet. Names I liked Azlynn Grace (girl), and Jareth Chance (boy), but DF didn't like Grace or Jareth. So now I've got a list...I like unusual names, DF kind of likes unusual names too. We know we want Chance as a middle if it's a boy.

Birth Plans/Preferences: Hospital/ Vaginal with epidural. I've never had any complications before, in fact my DR says I'm built to have kids. If I had it my way, I would be induced. Might still try to be. Due date is same day as my step-son's b'day. He has aspergers and it's a delicate matter. I don't want him to feel like his day is being taken over. So I'm hoping my DR will move my EDD or will agree to induce me a few days early.

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm a hairstylist, but currently unemployed due to a lock out at my salon a few months back. I grew up in Texas and will probably live here the rest of my life (somewhere w/in texas). We lead a crazy/ busy life, but we are very satisfied with it. My DF travels alot and can be gone from home for at least three weeks at a time, if not more. There's a lot more about me, but over time...not enough room on here. LOL

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): I just bet it's a boy. Am going to find out, but would be happy with either, though I suspect I'd be more naturally inclined to deal with a boy.

Names you like: Samuel or William; Elizabeth for a girl, no question

Birth Plans/Preferences: Going for the hospital, really hoping to avoid a c-section because I have three months to be home and I want to spend them with baby, not trying to recover from surgery.

Anything else you'd like to share: This looks like a nice place to get support for my plans to cloth diaper, breastfeed and work on AP.
