Abigail's impromptu homebirth

Abigail was born November 10, 2009 at 11:11AM after an hour and fifteen minutes of labor. I didn't even realize I was in labor until halfway through; I had just had a cervical check (I was 4cm) and thought I was just cramping from that but the cramps just kept coming and were incredibly intense. By the time I got home I knew I was in labor but couldn't get back into the car and drive (for obvious reasons AND I had DD with me). My husband was rushing home, called 911, and the paramedics arrived as the baby was crowning.

I ended up having a homebirth afterall!!
