Anyone have a favorite digital postal scale?

So I just realized that I need a better postal scale. It looks like there are a ton out there, anyone have a fave?

I hate mine (USPS scale). The next one I get will be the kind that you can calibrate.

Carrin, did you get it from the USPS? Have you looked at other ones? There seem to be a lot in the $30.00 ish dollar range, are those cheapo scales or are they good? I'm only weighing socks!

That's true, you don't weigh heavy stuff. Yes I got it at USPS. It would probably work fine for you. It's been working for 2 years now, and I've only had to change the batteries once.

I guess with socks it's not that big a deal! I just want to be accurate and I suspect I'm paying for extra ounces here and there! A lot of my packages are really close to the 13-ounce mark so I want to be sure to have the right weight.

I have found with the postal scale that it's accurate enough. I've never (knocking on wood) had a 1st Class Mail package come back because it was really over 13 ounces. The only trouble I have had was with international packages. They are super picky on weight for those...if it's off an ounce or two they will charge you more.
