Oh, my head hurts from all this...

So I've been home sick the past couple days nursing myself from I don't know what...I felt distinctly fluey on Monday, but not so bad yesterday or today except for fatigue and a sore throat. I've been pounding the chicken broth and taking my CLO & BO.

I haven't been able to sleep a lot, so I've been reading. Specifically, I'm re-reading Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. Wow. I missed so much the first time I read it! I guess all the lessons on critical reading this semester in ENG 1302 are paying off.

So ANYWAY, being the fervent, passionate individual I am I want to make all these changes yesterday. Which is exactly what landed me in trouble the last time I tried to implement a nourishing diet. I know I will be better off if I go about this in a systematic, balanced and practical way. I also want to get my family fully on board with this, but I don't want to scare them off by changing their life overnight. Not to mention that I need to really work on doing this as economically as possible.

I'm sticking with my goal of serving four dinners a week based on grassfed meats and/or homemade broth. I'll continue with the CLO & BO. In a couple weeks or so, I'll see about the next step. Maybe fresh ground grains would be good? Hmm, who knows! The great news is that I have a fantastic menu (complete with shopping list and to do list) that I can recycle for next time I buy a grassfed chicken. I can also see the potential to take this menu, and modify it to the next season.

I know I'll get it this time. I know I will, I'll just keep praying for guidance and the ability and the support to get this done. And financial assistance would be nice! I still have yet to hear back from the state. What a pain.

energy booster

when i want to raise my energy level, i drink:
sliced garlic + sliced ginger + kefir
you can replace kefir with yogurt, but kefir is better.

What I recommend is 2-4 changes, depending on how easy they are, per month. Faster than that and you usually face revolt from your family.
