I found this wonderful coloring book that compliments the Burgess Bird Book for Children quite well.
It's a PDF document, so anyone can download it. Just wanted to share.

I've got this book on our wishlist for our 5 year old. Can you tell me how you use the book in your homeschooling? We'd probably mostly use it as a reference and have other resources so I'm wondering if there's something specific about this book that makes it great? (It's not available in any of our local libraries or book stores so I can't flip through it to see!)

TIA!

We use it as a read aloud. Our nature study focus, for the most part this fall, has been birds. So, we try and read a few chapters each week (sometimes more and sometimes less), read about different birds, go out and look for birds in our neighborhood/park, and draw pictures/write down our observations.
