Baby might be breech, ultrasound to confirm tomorrow

So, I had my 38-week home visit appointment today and the midwives think the baby might be breech judging by the position and where they're finding the heart rate.

So, either tomorrow or Friday I'll go in for an ultrasound to check. If the baby's breech, I'll book a version at a local hospital here in the hopes of turning it in time along with a few sessions beforehand with my acupuncturists to see if we can get the baby to turn that way.

Sigh.

Keeping thinking lots of heads down thoughts. Mine went breech at 36 wks. I did one adjustment with a chiro who does the Webster technique and he turned. I cannot say enough good about it. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts that this little one turns vertex for you.

I'm also sending positive "turn, baby, turn!" vibes to your LO. I had the same issue up until recently and began seeing a chiro.

Thanks everyone!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I know I'm not brave enough for an at-home breech and it would mean finding a midwife willing to do it too, so I'm *really* hoping this baby is head down or will be by the time we go into labor.

Guess what? It's head down!

Apparently, it's a little oblique though, so the head's down, but not actually *over* the cervix. So, I might, just to be more safe than sorry do a little mini-version (more like a tweak) just so we don't have to worry about it. I've got to talk to my peeps though first.

Phew, well, thanks everyone for all the tips and advice.

Yay for head-down babies!!

My baby is also a little oblique. My mw said to spend some time hands-and-knees to help it get in the right spot.
