Hello - I have an online store going up in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out what kind of shipping options to offer. I have an idea of what I want (I think), but I have no idea what is the norm or if it would be weird, so would you mind checking it out and giving me your .02?
I was thinking that flat rate shipping is easier for everyone - me and the customer. Then I don't have to weigh and zone and all that. So for domestic, I was going to do USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail which is $4.95 for the small box. I am selling baby and kids' clothes, so the vast majority of my sales will fit in that box or even smaller. For international, I am going to do USPS Priority Flat Rate International, but some of the zones are a little extra so I was just going to do an average of all the rates and make that my flat rate. Does that sound stupid? I just want it to be easy and I know there will be a few orders that will be more than what I charged for shipping (by only a few dollars), but some will also be less, so I feel like it will all work out.
And does anyone know what the difference between Express International and Global Express International are??
