Praying this is labor!

Warning...kind of long and rambling and I just needed to get some of this out.

I've been so upset this week that I haven't been able to post at all.
Background: I am trying for a VBA2C and my dr office has been great up to this point. Unfortunately, my due date was Nov. 2nd and they refuse to consider that it might vary a bit because I had an early dating u/s. (which is infallible according to them)

Anyway. Monday they had me come in to the office o do a BPP. I know that baby has definite sleep/awake times and also was very sick and dehydrated when I went in. I had not eaten all day, etc... So we get to the u/s part and she wouldn't move, she just wouldn't.
The tech got upset and failed her and then they sent me to the hospital even though I told them that she had just been moving on the way there and all the rest...

As soon as I got to the hospital and hooked up they saw she was rolling all over and just fine. But I was having contractions every 2-3 minutes and they didn't want to send me home because of being a VBAC. I told them I had been having the same kind for days and as soon as I got up and changed what I was doing for a while they would stop. I ended up signing out AMA and the dr was actually ok with it because she said her gut told her everything was fine but she couldn't medically release me with those kind of contractions. (I was not dilated or effaced at all)
They absolutely will not induce at all which I understand.

Then, the c section date was set up for Friday if no labor occurred before then.
I went in again yesterday for the BPP and at first convinced them to go all the way till Monday to schedule it because that was the 42 week 0 days mark. But they called me last night to say that they realized I never took the 3 hour GTT and they then were considering me too high risk to wait, just in case I had uncontrolled, undxed GD and that although they couldn't force it, they wanted to do it today or tomorrow.

They are supposed to call me back today. DH is in Missouri and scheduled to come back tomorrow! (He is with DS at his graduation.)

Anyway...yesterday, practically right after DH left, I started having regular contractions that were pretty hard every 20 min, then 15 min, then 10 min but got so tired putting DD to bed that I fell asleep around 2 am. Woke up at 4:30 and didn't have any more till about 6. I had what looked like a blob of blood come out in the bathroom and am desperately hoping that it is a sign that I'm dilating!

Contractions are now about 15 min apart...

If you got through this whole story, thanks for reading it. I'm freaking out a bit because DH will not be here if she is born today, but also praying that it is today that she will be born so that there will be no further pressure on me. They are throwing the stillbirth risk at me (though I read that is not huge and generally only with severe GD). I failed my 1 hour test only by a little bit.

Please send lots of good vibes this way!

Thanks,

Deb

Oh, goodness, I really hope this is labor for you as well. What a load of poppycock from dr's since when do you assume gd. I hope you get all the strength you need to get that baby out without a c-section and if need be w/out your dh- hopefully you have some other support around! I would be doing some positive affirmations- your body can do this!!!
