i looked positively skeletal after the first 6 months of breastfeeding. now dd is 18 months it's evened out a bit, but i am still a bit below pre-pregnancy weight (& i was at a normal-to-slim weight then). whenever anyone comments on how "you'd never guess you had a baby!" i credit breastfeeding. can't discourage anyone, right?!
