I'm Jaquie, mom to Lauryn (5.5y) and Ian (2.5y). Been with John for 15 years, married for exactly half of that. A dog and 2 cats round out the family. I'm a fisheries technician professionally; fresh out of the oven and still warm CPST obsessionally (instructor invited me over to this forum, thanks!); we have 4 acres where we raise organic veggies year-round (garden & hoophouse), charming and lovable grass-based hogs and broiler chickens, and 10 crazy pet laying hens that run willy-nilly and like to hang out on the deck (though I don't like that). DH went to a conference last month and toured Polyface Farm, so you can imagine what our beliefs are on food, though we aren't anywhere near perfect in reality. I have an Etsy shop where I sell my cloth diapers, pattern, and hand-knit soakers (I love me some knitting!). I'm a devout Grey's Anatomy fan with a moderately unhealthy girl-crush on Dr. Arizona Robbins and tend to have a sense of humor of a 12 yo boy. That's me in a nutshell, from a pretty big nut.
