Hi there - my dd just turned 3 & I am in school 3 days a week. 2 days she spends with a good friend at our house the other day she spends with another good friend at their house.
Today (and a few other days) she would not let me leave her at my friends house. My friend has a son about the same age as my dd & a little girl who is 1. My dd was screaming for me not to leave & saying she was scared and didn't want to be there. Really freaking out.
My dear friend is also an AP mama & very gentle & kind with the kids. And normally a few minutes after I leave my dd is fine & playing.
This morning she was really having a hard time & I missed my early class & so we went home.
I don't know how to handle this - I need to go to school & this is my only option for this day, as my other friend who watches my dd at our house is working elsewhere that day.
I don't want to just leave her when she is crying for me not to leave - I feel like if I sneak out I would lose her trust or if I just say sorry kiddo I've got to go that she might feel like her feelings are not as important as mine etc etc...
Have you BTDT? Any advice?
Thanks
