Dog Barrier for Rav4? Kid in third row without removing barrier?!?

Hi! We just got a RAV4, and need to get a dog barrier (it has only been a week and she just cannot keep her muddy paws off the back seat). We used one made by Subaru for our Legacy, but Toyota does not make them so I need to find a generic one.

I found lots online, but would love to start with a recommendation for someone else who loves theirs.

Also, it would be nice to not have to take it out when I occasionally use the third row, but the idea of having my son behind the gate doesn't sit very well. I cannot think of an actual reason though... it just seems weird. Thoughts on that?

I have a Rav 4 and a black lab

A barrier just to keep the back clean? I bought the largest plastic (vinyl?) picnic table cloth that I could find at Target. It was rectangular and had the fabric backing. Then I took the head rests off the back seat, put the edge of the tablecloth a good 6 inches over the top of the seat, poked a hole where the headrests would go and replaced the headrests. After that I simply laid out the rest of the table cloth. Pushed in corners and folded the excess under the mat. I have a very excitable lab who spins in circles, drools and puts his paws up on the back of the seat when he rides. The tablecloth has held up beautifully, can be washed easily, removed easily.
