I hate goodbyes.

I had an u/s last Friday (6w3d) which showed a sac/yolk measuring a week behind and no heartbeat. I'm sure of my dates. The RE was pretty conclusive in saying that this one's not going to make it, and - after having gone through this twice before - I know he's right. I've had a rough few days and couldn't bring myself to update you all sooner.

So, I'm just waiting for the bleeding to start, and hoping that I can avoid a d&c.

I'm so desperately sorry that I don't get to stay to get to know you ladies better, and even sorrier that I'll have no baby to take home in July.
