constantly wet pits

I am ALWAYS pitting out. I teach college classes and it is embarrassing how HUGE my pit-sweat circles are. I don't use antipersperiant (doesn't work anyways) and am currently using some natural deo. which is fine. The smell is not the problem - the socially unacceptable pits are the issue! Any suggestions would be SO appreciated!!!!

I wish there was a solution because I sweat a lot too, but the worst part about it is my hands. I've had this since I was a kid. I don't know anything natural to stop the sweat. There is a surgery that they do for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) where they cut off a nerve near the spine, which is too invasive for me, so I won't be doing it. That is all I know as far as a real cure. Something that might have helped me is I had a Cetified ThetaHealing Practitioner perform Yuen Method of Chinese Energetics on me, which is removing my energy blockages, and I think it has helped my hands sweat less, but I need to test it out some more and haven't been able to do so because the weather has been a lot cooler so I'm not sweating as much. I only had this done to me last week, and it was a free session that I got when I was attending a Holistic Moms meeting last week. Just thought I'd mention it.

There is actually a type of pad you can wear under your shirt to absorb the wetness--Google "sweat guard." I used to work in the lingerie department at a department store and we sometimes carried this type of thing. I don't have personal experience wearing them (although I am also a heavy sweater at times!), but it might be something to consider if you're self-conscious about the perspiration showing.

Thanks to both of you... I'm going to look into the pads. I've heard of botox which just sounds crazy to me most of the time and then there are days when I'm ready to do ANYTHING!

Sounds like hyperhydrosis. Order yourself some Odaban, it's expensive but it works.
