How long did your Medela PIS last?

I have a Medela Pump in Style, it has 2 years of heavy use. My dd is 6 mo and I estimate I will need it another year, Is it going to last that long? I have a fear that I'm going to be out in the middle of no where for work and my pump will break.

How long are the pumps expected to last?

I was told, at a recent conference, that the PIS is designed to last for 1,000 hours.
