We did EC 80% of the time with cloth backup until DS started to crawl, and then he went on an extended potty break. I've just started trying to pick it up again with mixed success! We're combining this with sign language so he can tell us when he needs to go.
Today I "missed" a poo in his nappy, so I changed him but didn't put the pooey nappy in the bucket straight away - silly I know!
Anyway, I look up when I hear DS clapping, and see him doing the toilet sign and clapping himself. He normally does this after he's done something in the potty as we make a big song and dance about it. I walk over and see a poo in the potty and think NO did he put himself on the potty and go?! (It's hot in Aus at the moment so lots of nakey butt time).
Obviously he's learned the "poo goes in the potty" lesson a little too well, as he transplanted the poo from the nappy into the potty while I wasn't looking, AND decided that deserved a round of applause.
Made my day, so funny!
