Cooked cabbage question

So...my lovely dh forgot to put away a casserole dish full of steamed cabbage last night, so it sat covered all night on the counter.
I was planning to make soup with it today. I'm loathe to throw it out as we live in a remote area and good food is hard to come by...this is a whole organic cabbage and I can't just run out and get another. My next food order is not for a couple of weeks, so nothing organic till then.
Am I angry? Yes!
Is it safe to make soup out of? I don't know. Please help.

Bumping....anyone?

I would use it for soup today, our kitchen is pretty cool overnight and I've eaten many forgotten leftovers without problems.

I probably wouldn't freeze that batch of soup for later though.

I ended up using it for soup...make a nice borcht...ate a tonne of it last night and feel fine today so I guess it's OK.

No worries about freezing it, there is none left...we all ate a lot

Thanks for the input.
