pregnancy books for a noncrunchy friend

I have a friend who's trying to get pregnant and I'd love to get her a few books. I have no idea what to get her though b/c she's fairly mainstream so half the books I own are out. I refuse to buy What to Expect too so I'm out of ideas. All I have so far is The Pregnancy Book by Dr. Sears. Any ideas? It can be funny, informative, a pregnancy journal, pretty much anything.

What's Going On in There -- fascinating book about brain development from fetus to preschooler. It's SO interesting.

Madeleine's World, Brian Hall - great book by a novelist about his daughter's first three years. I read this over and over while pregnant.

Your Pregnancy Week by Week -- used it, liked it at the time, don't remember much about it except that it wasn't written by crazy people like WTEWYE.

Maybe look at The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin (http://www.amazon.com/Birth-Partner-...8492021&sr=8-1) - it's great for moms and partners. Or Having a Baby Naturally, http://www.amazon.com/Mothering-Maga...8492104&sr=1-1. Is Ina May's Guide to Childbirth too out there do you think? Have fun choosing!
