divorcing neighbors x3

I don't know if this is where this belongs but I am so sad for our neighbors. There are 3 families on our block who are divorcing right now. Just found out about our neighbors across the street. We knew something was up. One spouse hasn't been around for a while and when the other told me tonight, I just felt like crying. This is a couple that has been together many, many years, has grown kids. Another family has four kids from ages 2 to 10. Both couples there was the issue of one spouse cheating. The 3rd couple I don't know what happened.
It's just so sad. Now I am trying to figure out how to tell my kids. Soon they will be asking questions. My oldest plays with one of the boys in the family that has the young kids. They are going to be moving away. Likewise the family across the street will be selling the house and moving.
My parents divorced when I was 9 and I remember watching my father, the one who was left, deal with the pain.
Just feeling sad for these three families tonight. They'll be celebrating their first holidays as families divorcing. I remember what that felt like in my own family growing up.

Thank you for the hugs.
I'm trying, without success, to contact the grown daughter of the family across the street. She babysat my children when she would come home from college and has now moved out of state. Just want to reach out to her. It must be so hard for her, that her parents are splitting up. Their house was always the center of activity for all of their extended family on holidays. Hopefully I'll be able to locate her. I don't have an up to date email address for her.
