Source for natural jerky and smoked meats?

I love beef jerky and smoked meats, but all regular brands are full of chemicals and of course made with questionable meat anyway.

Does anyone know of a source for good quality beef (or other meat) jerky and "slim jim" type products?

I probably should just make my own and I would, if I had a dehydrator. Maybe something to put on my Christmas list...

www.grasslandbeef.com has some great options. we've gotten the beef jerky and beef sticks, as well as buffalo and turkey jerky. all great!

Thanks! That's exactly the type of thing I was looking for. If anyone else has tried their jerky and beef snack sticks I'd love to hear more reviews.

We have a couple of local farmers that sell buffalo jerky (it's awesome) at our farmers' market. You may want to see if anyone local to you is doing so but I think you can also order online at Ciebola Farms and Gunpowder Buffalo.

I made my own not too long ago. It was excellent!! Have you thought about that? I don't have a dehydrator but used the oven.
