We added a lovely black lab to our family about 2 months ago. Things are going well. She's awesome and the cats are getting closer and closer to her. We're all in love.
So, lately she's been hanging around me while I make dinner. But she just stands there, with her head down. I start thinking, "theres something wrong". So, I'm watching her alot. Her food/water intake; her food/water "outage"; etc. I ask dh if he thinks she's sick. Maybe she's in pain, she is a senior. Maybe the kids play with her too much. Maybe she's depressed? Misses her other family? I'm making myself sick with worry.
Its not until I drop a peice of carrot that I realize: She's waiting for food to fall!
