Breast pump?

I'm not sure if I am putting this is the right place. I apologize if I am not.

My breast pump died and I need to replace it ASAP. I don't pump often (mainly on random all day business trips) but when I do I need something that will empty my breasts well.

I saw a pump in Mothering magazine - I believe the September/October issue - but I can't find my mag nor can I remember what brand it was. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Is there a pump you would recommend? I plan on using it for at least another year and want something that is good quality.

TIA!

FYI - my old pump was the Advent Isis IQ Duo.

I don't think you can go wrong with either the Medela Pump in Style or Ameda Purely Yours. Yes, they're both costly, but if you're planning to pump for a year, even if it's only once in a while, I think it's a good investment.

The other option is the Lansinoh double electric. It retails for around $150, but that's ONLY the pump and none of the cool accessories you get with the PIS or PY, like extra collection bottles, a cooler pack or a tote bag. However, it is the exact same pump as the PY. If you don't pump every day, you probably don't need a lot of collection bottles and you could simply find a cheap tote to carry it in.
