I totally agree - I would MUCH rather put a newborn in a Moby for walks in March than in a stroller - rrrrr!

That said, I am someone who does have a hard time with comfortably wearing a bigger baby for a long time, so we got a Combi Cosmo EX when DD was a little older - it lays quite flat, is lightweight, and folds small. It is nice to take a long to the mall and things like that, when I'm going to need my hands. A friend then gave us a Jeep Liberty All-Terrain stroller as well. It's HUGE - I would never take it anywhere in the mall or anything, but DH likes to use it when he and DD walk to the grocery store. It is definitely nicer on gravel/rough pavement.
I also picked up a Chicco Cortina off Craigslist the other day, because I'm giving a friend our Keyfit 30 and the stroller matches. It's bigger than I would want for something I hauled around in the car, but it lays flat and DD liked it when we tried it out. It would probably be a nice choice if you're looking for one of the travel system style combos, especially since I endorse the Keyfit 30 seat.
