UPDATE!
I called my MW after my water broke to let her know. I went to check on DH/kids who had all been sleeping in one room. They were just waking up. I told DH-- it's time, but I don't know when my mom will get here.
Thankfully, DH called my wonderful friend who lives close by. She came right over with one of her DDs (my DD's best friend), which was so nice. Everyone was in a good mood, including me. I had to breathe through cx (was not timing them) but felt great in between.
On our way to the hospital I timed cx-- every 3 minutes but very manageable. After getting a little lost (!) we made it. I was checked and was 8 cm. Someone said-- "She's walking and she's at 8?" I just find it easier to walk vs. sitting during labor. I would guess I am not alone!
They planned on monitoring me for 20 minutes, and the cx were still manageable and not coming non-stop, so I could chat and relax in between. My MW arrived. I planned on going into the tub after monitoring, but during one cx I said-- I think I can push. There was one bag (I guess? One part? I don't know how that works), so I asked for it to be broken. That immediately helped. I just started pushing, and out she came. Crowning hurt, but it was all over so fast. The worst part was being sewn up . . .I always tear!
So, from the time I was checked, the whole thing took 20 minutes. Labor for 1.5 hours total. I have never had such an easy transition . . .usually I really work for 10 minutes, but this was different because there was a break between cx.
I am just so glad to be done . . .and just yesterday I felt like this moment would never come. For the mamas waiting, I know the waiting can seem like forever, but you will have your babies soon, even though it may feel like just a dream!
Thank you all so much for your support and well-wishes!

I am having cx every 4-5 minutes. Now the trick will be to see if my mom gets here in time (takes her an hour) so that I can leave for the hospital (30 minutes away). My MW is 40 minutes away. On the plus side, I do like to time it so that I am in the hospital only an hour anyway.
The nice thing is, everyone is sleeping in!
This pregnancy and labor has been so different. In the past, it always would have led to giving birth, but this time I keep worrying the cx will fizzle out or something, meaning I would have bothered people for nothing!
Umm-- my water just broke! This has never happened before. Of course, I've never gone this late before either.
