Any suggestions?
Everyone in my family is sick and I'm having an urge to disinfect everything.

I can't remember the ratio, but google for vinegar and hydrogen peroxide... combined they make a great disinfectant. I usually just use diluted vinegar for everything.

I hope you all feel better soon!

Hot water and soap probably takes care of 99% of germs... Some people like to add tea tree oil. I think that has antibacterial qualities.

I make Grapefruit Seed Extract spray with 15-20 drops of GSE in a big spray bottle of water. I use it to spray down fruits and veggies and my DD's toys after a sick child comes over to play.

I like all the previous suggestions. You can also do a tea tree oil soap spray or vinegar. I'll also often put some eucalyptus oil in an oil burner to sorta purify the air (helps the congestion too).

For heavy duty I use a spray bottle of vinegar and another spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Squirt with each bottle and wipe. For some reason you're not supposed to mix the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide so keep them in seperate bottles. Can't remember the reason though.

We use vinegar on everything and add GSE if it's sickness related. My youngest has reactive airway disease so simple colds get really scary with her so I'm super careful about germs and sick people around her. But things like aerosal sprays make her wheeze so natural things are best. So vinegar works really well, especially in a little spray bottle for cart handles at the grocery store.
