LIke when it was passed? I know it has been a while. If you have the actual bill number, that would be even better. I can look up the law if I have a general idea when it was passed. THe first I ever heard about such a law was from Phyllis Schafly.

Anyone??

On October 1, 1988, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (Public Law 99-660) created the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). The VICP was established to ensure an adequate supply of vaccines, stabilize vaccine costs, and establish and maintain an accessible and efficient forum for individuals found to be injured by certain vaccines. The VICP is a no-fault alternative to the traditional tort system for resolving vaccine injury claims that provides compensation to people found to be injured by certain vaccines. The U. S. Court of Federal Claims decides who will be paid. Three Federal government offices have a role in the VICP:

Also, the Homeland Security Act provides for mass vaccinations and immunizes the drug companies from litigation.

Page 7 of The Vaccine Guide by Randall Neustaedter, OMD says:

The Vaccine Injury Act was instituted not because the vaccine industry admitted its culpability in these tragedies, but simply because the drug companies refused to continue production of these substances that resulted in multimillion dollar lawsuits. The government chose to subsidize vaccine production by paying awards out of tax dollars and limiting the amount to an administrative budget. Litigation against drug companies was eliminated, and parents were left seeking recompense from a government bureaucracy.
Vaccine manufacturers have no fear because the government is there to protect their profits. So now they don't care if their vaccines kill and damage people. They can't be sued. But their money will continue to roll in as long as the government promotes their vaccine products.
