Beefalo???

There is some Beefalo in my area and it is grass fed the farm seems to be amazing everything seems wonderful. What are your thoughts on this ?

I'd get some if it's a decent price. I love beef and bison, so I can't see not liking beefalo. I wouldn't pay more for it though.

The genetic mixing doesn't bother me at all - many many species cross breed in nature. I am assuming they are bred the same way cattle are and that there's no gene splicing happening.

I like the idea of it, and was getting it some (we are probably talking about the same place ) But every time I have gotten it, dd has gotten a terrible rash. So we are avoiding it forever. As a matter of fact we ate some last night and eve has a horrible rash today. But if we aren't talking about the same local beefalo farm, then it may be fine. I have found that if we eat greens with beef, it lessens the bad effects of the meat.

Not that you are asking for other beef, but just if you wanted more sources, I like the angus beef from the stand on the corner of north w***t. Eve did great with that and it is all grass fed.

As you can see my indicator for good meat is my dd's bum. Lovely huh.
