Just wanted to drop in and say that after 41w4d, we have a baby!
Nikolas Dieter came at 10-something this morning, in our own bed, with the help of my dear midwife friends and my sweet husband.
Sunday afternoon I went for a 1.5 hour walk with my kids, and took 1oz of castor oil, more for a cleanout
than a labor inducer. (I had taken 4oz of castor oil the previous week with no results)
I stupidly stayed up til 4am refining a paper for school, all the while thinking, "these are some strong contractions..." Then I got up and cleaned my house til about 5am, then figured i wanted DH home to make me feel better, and called him back from work. I don't think he believed this was it, cause he sat and played video games for the next hour
We called the midwives round 6, they got here at 7am, and I was only at 5cm! Then at around 8am, I was 9+ cm. It took a long time for that last bit of cervix to get out of the way, I think 'cause of his position.
I hollered a lot more than other times, and i was glad we have no upstairs neighbors at the moment!
This was the first time I didn't labor on my back, and I birthed on my hands and knees--sooo much better! 
Nik is 8lbs 1oz, 21 inches long, and was born on the new moon, on the exact day that DH "predicted", and also on the birthday of DH's uncle Dieter, who his middle name is from
