I've been feeling so exhausted and tired; besides, i am dealing with thrush now and candida. if I eat carbs, i feel crazed up. I take b12, d3, calcium magnezium, vit C and fish oil, but I'd like to take a multivitamin too. I used to take prental nutrients from Solgar, byt then I found it on the list of lead-containing multi (somebody posted a link to lead-containing prenatals and kids suppl on the Health and healing). Now I don't know which one to take not to run into a lead-containing or green superfoods containing one. Apprently, green superfoods are bad for nursing mamas too because the mobilize toxins.

if it is the minerals you need, i'd suggest red clover tea. it has trace amounts of every mineral your body needs, in safe amounts, and reasonable proportions. and children's viatims are a good safe choice- flinstones gummies?

red clover is very, very safe for pregnant and nursing mothers. I was totally unaware that flinstones has lead! awful!

New Chapter makes wonderful whole food vitamins. I would recommend their prenatal if you're still nursing. You can usually find it cheaper on Amazon than in stores too.

I love rainbow light vitamins....whole-food based plus lots of other good things in them. I've taken the prenatal for 2 1/2 yrs and my husband likes their mens multi (not that you would choose that one)

Could you be low in iron? If so I recommend floradix, with beetroot capsules, yellowdock tincture and orange juice. For the thrush, which is a problem for me, I have started taking Ultimate flora vaginal support capsules. The logo is critical care for the vagina which just cracks me up every time I read it! But it really helps. Plus garlic capsules. Not a lot of processed sugars. I am sorry I do not know much about the multi vitamins and the lead thing. But I find, sometimes just an iron boost when I am running low helps. Its a vicious cycle, cos the more tired I am, the more crap I eat, which leads to more tiredness and usually thrush!! But I am trying to find a balance. Good luck Mama and take care of yourself!

I am currently so afraid of any prenatals because of the possible lead content in them. Thank you for all the suggestion!
