how do i handle this?

my oldest is 32mos and he weaned when he was 22mos when i was pregnant with the wee babe. he has shown a lot of interest in the baby getting "nee nees" and has asked me for nee nees several times. i always say okay and offer to let him nurse but he will say "i all done" and not even try.
for the past 2 days, though, he's actually trying. his latch sucks (pun not intended). he doesn't seem to know exactly what to do, but he wants to do it. last night he actually sucked a few times and pulled back and said "there milk in there. it coming out." i don't know how much of that was from him sucking or me doing a little compression.
i'm not sure what to do. i don't really mind tandem nursing, although i don't really want to do it. i certainly don't want him to feel jealous of the wee babe. and i think that that is what it is about. he's still my baby no matter what, and i just don't want to mess up here.

I only have one baby, so take this with a grain of salt, but I am pretty sure it is very common for a toddler to want to nurse again after the birth of a new baby. I have a couple of friends who had babies this summer who are dealing with this with their two year olds. I would say if you aren't uncomfortable giving your son a little milk, go for it. It is most likely a phase and he will probably grow out of it quickly. I was 18 months when my brother was born, and my mom said that I was a little jealous of new brother's nursing, and when she offered me the boob back, I said "nursing is for babies" and I was done
