Okay, so I bought a carpet cleaner the other day. I have one master bedroom and an entryway that have carpet. Everything else is either tile or hardwood. It's been three years since I had the carpets cleaned (I did a rental from the supermarket).
Needless to say, the carpets are dirty...and they don't smell fresh...I "steamed" both rooms, and the water was BLACK. I steamed the bedroom again once it dried, and the water is still uky. Do I need to keep steaming until the water comes out reasonably clean??
