I make my own blend:
rosehip seed oil - good for skin, especially for reducing signs of aging
vitamin E oil - good for skin and prolongs shelf life of oils
jojoba oil or sweet almond oil - thins out the blend to a more workable consistency
I eyeball the proportions and use a very small amber bottle (5/8 dram - 5 ml). It takes awhile to use it up and has never gone bad.
You need moisture or wetness before an oil will do much good. I wash with rosewater soap, rinse well, then spritz on rosewater. While my skin is still damp, I apply just a drop or two of the above blend around my eyes (gently with ring fingers). Lastly, I use a small amount of coconut oil warmed between my hands now that it is solid and pat all over my face, neck, and décolletage - including going over my eye area again. Any excess is rubbed into the back of my hands. My face and hands are pretty soft!

Also, my skin used to be oily, then started becoming oily in some areas and dry and wrinkled in other areas (eyes and mouth especially). Now, it is all "normal" all day long. It is nearly 10 pm and I haven't washed my face since 7 am this morning. My face, neck, and upper chest skin is all soft and well hydrated....not oily, not dry.
According to my Ayurveda practitioner, the rosewater was key for me. My skin challenges are two-fold, according to her: 1) hormonal imbalances and 2) congestion. The rosewater helped immensely! I'm also working on internal changes with food and supplements.
