How much can I expect to get from a half gallon of yogurt?

Can I freeze whey? Will it still be any good after it's frozen?

I think it depends how thick the yogurt is to start and what your straining through, oh and also the fat content.

Half gallon will probably give you a quart mason jar full if you let it drip long enough. I don't see why you couldn't freeze it. If I have a lot I make ice cubes wtih the whey and use them in smoothies as the ice
