DS has coslept with us since he was about a month old with no issues (he is now 6mo) and tonight I woke up and he somehow managed to wiggle away from me and under the blanket (I tuck it in at the end of the bed so it only comes up to my waist, and DS sleeps tucked under my arm near my face...so I woke up to him fussing under the blanket...he's fine and nursed back to sleep but
I feel like the WORST PARENT EVER. I won't go into details about what ran through my head at that point...I love co sleeping and DS does too, but finding him under the blanket was terrifying... it felt like all of the (seemingly) senseless fear coming from my family about co sleeping was suddenly true. I can't fall back asleep and am seriously thinking about getting a crib..help...has this ever happened to anyone else...
