No, don't do that! Have a soak in the tub with a glass of wine instead! See if it soothes. You're almost done, hang in there!

Yes, don't do that! I KNOW it is very tempting . . .this last PG I felt the worst ever (so many days of feeling yucky, like true labor was about to start and then . . .nothing). But you know what? It ALL paid off because I absolutely had the easiest TRUE labor (when it finally happened) out of any of my previous ones, and my previous ones were pretty easy! It was so, so, SO fast and I am thinking the same will be true for you. When you "go" you are going to go fast!!!

Think about being stuck in the hospital instead of your home . .having to have pitcocin, and then probably an epidural . . .yuck! If you DO want to do something I would say have your membranes stripped at your next appt. If it helps, great, and if not, it won't affect you.

Remember, the pain means something is happening. This is GOOD! Talk to your baby, think "down," think "pressure" instead of "pain," think of the very sacred journey that your baby is taking right now to meet you. It will be beautiful! You can do this, mama!

well my head is pounding i cant take this anymore i cant walk ive had my mb stripped 3 times now its NOT working and as far as pit goes that does NOT mean and epidural i did pit with my first no epi! i just cant take it anymore i NEED to break a deep breath i havent bene able to in 3months
