Update - I've been cervidilled!

After some blood pressure readings this evening that had me sobbing over the monitor (160/105, yikes), my mw sent me to the hospital for NST and bloodwork. Baby passed its tests no problem, but my bloodwork came back less than stellar.

So I've got the cervidil fun going on. We just got home (6 am) after all night at the hospital getting monitored. Now we sleep as much as we can and go back in the afternoon to check my bloodwork again. If I'm still okay, we can go home again and proceed with a homebirth if that is what we wish! What an awesome on-call OB we had tonight!

Probably having the baby wed night at the earliest, but more likely sometime Thurs, possibly fri (though I don't think my body will take that long to get going this time).

Very excited about meeting my baby soon! Will update when I can, or dh will cut and paste/post something for me.

Best of luck to everyone in the meantime, I'll be thinking of my fellow Nov mamas laboring and birthing their babies while I work to bring my baby into the world!

PS My bp reading when my mw checked at home, and all my readings at the hospital were back down to the 130s/80s. Just to clarify that I would not have left the hospital if my bp was still distressingly high.

Thanks for the positive energy!

Didn't get much sleep from 7am-noon, but having an excellent breakfast now (cream of wheat) and remembering to bring my earplugs to the hospital today so maybe I can have a good nap while getting monitored.
