Tricks to growing hair faster?

Does anyone have any? I'm currently taking prenatals and my hair is looking the best it's ever been. I get trims every 8 to 9 weeks to keep my hair fresh and healthy. Anything else I could be doing?

The quality of hair can be helped by vitamin suppliments, then to maintain it, you have to use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Keep clear of flat irons. If you must straighten your hair, try to use a round bruch with a blow drier. Its less damaging.

To help it grow FASTER, use any kind of energizing, invigorating, "tee Trea" type product to wash your hair. I use the Paul Mitchel Tea tree shampoo and conditioner, but Back to basics also has an energizing shampoo and conditioner. Anything that gives your scap a tingle will do the trick. What you want to do is stimulate and increase blood flow in the scalp, which will encourage the follicles to work harder and faster. I letterally went from hair above my shoulder to what I have now in about 7 months time. Thats an inch a month!

Wow! That's incredible!
My hair is at my shoulders currently and I would like to get it at least 3 or 4 inches past that. I will look at the PM tea tree shampoo. I remember using that at one point because of a really dry scalp issue I had, but it's been years.
I have a flat iron and have only used it once or twice - I just don't have time for it in the mornings anymore.
Thanks for the tips!!

I cut my hair in a short, short pixie in August, HATED it, and started growing it out again. Story of my life! I read a lot of stuff online and found info about Nioxin (which probably isn't the most natural thing to use). I started it in September and my hair has been growing about an ince a month, maybe a touch more. I never measured it before so I don't know how fast it normally grows. I finally got it all straight along the bottom which means I can now grow it out without having a mullet!! I can't wait to have longer hair again!

While I'm sure the extra vitamins don't hurt, I'd be more inclined to blame it on the pregnancy hormones. Pregnancy is just great for hair, it gets very full and luscious while ones pregnant. Pregnancy stops normal shedding off hair for a while (of course around 4 months PP you start making up for lost time, and a whole lot of shedding goes on and suddenly you go back to normal.)

I was going to mention that stuff too. But its pretty expensive, and I found the PM and BTB to work just as good, for like half the price.

TELL ME ABOUT IT! I got pregnant for the second time around 4 months PP, so I skipped that stage the first time. BUt after Matt was born, HOLY GUACAMOLE! I went virtually BALD around my hairline on the left side! Maybe I will get lucky and it will grow back kind wavy?

It is SUPER expensive, but I'm still using a tiny bottle and have quite a bit to go. I mostly just wanted to grow it out of the really short stage quick. Then I think I'll try the other recs you guys have.

Drinking nettle infusion is what does it for me. Not only do my hair and nails grow faster, they're stronger and shinier. I think it's all the minerals...

Scalp massage. I do it when I shampoo. I noticed my hair growing faster right away.

If you can stand it, try putting wooden clothes pins on the tips of your fingers for five minutes on a regular basis. They are supposedly the same nerves that stimulate your hair growth. This was recommended to me many years ago when I started drastically losing my hair and it seemed to help.
