in a sling or carrier. if she is facing my torso she freaks out b/c she has boobie angst. she can go sideways, but not all my slings do a side carry. i do breastfeed on demand.
is this normal? how do other women carry their babes facing them without having baby demand the boob and freak out?

Ds does the same thing.. I either stick the boob back in his mouth and let him suck until he falls asleep or stick a binky in his mouth... or put him in right after nursing when he is ready to sleep... and ill bounce him around until he falls asleep. I can't even hold him facing me regular ( without a carrier) without him freaking and wanting boobs. He cant ever just relax and snuggle with me. He has to have boobs.

my daughter is the same if i carry her in a ring sling or pouch. no one can hold her in the cradle position without breastfeeding- even when my 10yo son holds her that way she snorts and roots around and he'll tell her "oh sorry, i didn't mean to hold you in the boobie position".

i love nurslings and their delicious devotion to breasts

My dd will usually drop off to sleep in the front in my ring sling, but often I have to nurse her at the same time. But since she has thrush, she isn't always in the mood to nurse and sometimes offering it to her makes her madder.
